Gulabo Sapera makes her item number debut with ‘’Bhanwari Ka Jaal”….
Gulabo Sapera, the internationally renowned and National Award winning Rajasthani dancer recently performed the traditional Kalbelian folk dance form in her debut item number in the upcoming controversial film ‘Bhanwari Ka Jaal’.
The foot-tapping item number was shot at the picturesque Nandanvan near Madh, Mumbai. Gulabo Sapera performed on the item number with her three young daughters.
Her eldest daughter has also been honoured with a National Award for her exceptional folk dancing skills. Gulabo looked elegant in a shimmering black Rajasthani outfit that weighed 16 kilos. The award winning former Bigg Boss contestant is very excited about her first ever item number in Bollywood.
This out-and-out dance number has been choreographed by Reshma Khan for ‘Bhanwari Ka Jaal’ that is being directed by ace filmmaker Rakesh Saini.
Produced by Ranjeet Sharma, ‘Bhanwari ka Jaal’ is a true story based on the Bhanwari Devi gangrape that rocked the nation’s collective conscience.
The film stars actress Sadhika Randhawa in the lead.
